We use PC's for our production and have the latest conversion
utilities for converting MAC to PC and vise versa. We are also able to
convert most MAC fonts for use with PC's.
Basic rules to follow when composing a file for
printing...
• Compose the file in CMYK color
profile. If you submit files as RGB, they will be automatically
converted to CMYK during our preflight process, which may cause
some color shift.
• Use Process colors instead of Spot, Spot colors will be converted to
CMYK.
• Provide 300 dpi or higher graphics/photos for optimum results.
• Embed all graphics, or include graphics with linked folder.
• Convert all text to Outlines or Curves. If this is not available,
include fonts used in linked
folder.
• For rich black, set CMYK values to 60% Cyan, 40% Magenta, 40%
Yellow, 100% Black.
• If the sheet bleeds, provide 1/16"(.0625") or 0p4.5 on each edge
that bleeds.
• Allow 1/16"(.0625") or 0p4.5 from edge of sheet to text & graphics.
This is to eliminate losing
any text & graphics when cutting down to finished size.
